Integrative Physical Therapy at The Restoration Space
Integrative physical therapy is a holistic, "whole-person" approach to care that combines conventional physical therapy methods with complementary therapies like mindfulness, breathwork, and lifestyle changes, recognizing the deep connection between the mind, body, and spirit. The expert physical therapists at The Restoration Space aim to address the root causes of dysfunction, rather than just symptoms, by incorporating personalized exercise, manual techniques, and education on factors like sleep, stress, and nutrition to promote overall well-being and healing.* Treatment plans are flexible and adapted to the individual's needs, shifting with their changing condition.
*The beauty of the design of The Restoration Space is that your Physical Therapist may suggest working with one of our other health experts to support your progress as well to provide full comprehensive and integrative care.
Benefits of Integrative Physical Therapy
Comprehensive Care: It provides a wider range of care options, addressing factors beyond the purely physical.
Improved Outcomes: By targeting root causes, it can lead to better and faster healing.
Enhanced Self-Healing: It helps maximize the body's natural self-healing mechanisms.
Prevention of Reinjury: It helps improve coordination, control, and adaptability to reduce the risk of future injuries.

PELVIC PHYSICAL THERAPY
At The Restoration Space, we offer physical therapy treatment for an abundance of issues related to, in and around the pelvis and pelvic floor. Our specialists have helped hundreds of people get answers and relief from their symptoms and pain.
Do any of these symptoms sound familiar?
While it can be embarrassing to talk about this stuff, we can promise you you’re not alone. Pelvic floor physical therapy can help with…
spontaneous and unwanted sexual arousal in genital area
vaginal or vulvar itching, burning, and sensitivity
irritable bowel issues or constipation
lower abdominal bloating and pressure
pain during sex
lower back pain, sacral pain, hip pain and/or lower abdominal pains
unexplained sitting pain or buttock pain
urinary frequency, leaking, and urgency
Pelvic Pain
At The Restoration Space, we offer specialized physical therapy for pelvic issues in both women and men. If no one has been able to help with your pain, don’t lose hope.
With one of our pelvic therapy specialists, you’ll undergo a comprehensive exam of your whole body, including the pelvic floor and your breathing patterns, to identify areas of imbalance and instability. Whether you’re a yogi, a CrossFitter, an office worker; pregnant with your first baby or your fifth, here you’ll get a custom program to help you get back to moving and living pain-free.
Conditions this service can assist with are but not limited to: prolapse, urinary incontinence, dyspareunia, vaginismus, vestibulitis, vulvodynia, coccyx pain, piriformis syndrome, sciatica, pelvic pain/dysfunction, hip pain that has not resolved with traditional PT and exercise, constipation, fecal incontinence, and lower abdominal pain.
Pregnancy/Postpartum Care
During pregnancy, the muscles and joints in your spine and pelvis are constantly changing and stretching. We’ll show you how to stabilize and support your pelvis to prevent pain and prepare your body for delivery. We can guide you, even before you have your baby, towards safe postpartum healing to reduce instances of incontinence, sciatica, pain with intercourse, or pelvic pain.
After birth, so much focus goes to the baby. Let us take care of YOU. We can help you restore your core, heal an incision, feed your baby comfortably, correct back pain, and more. Shower or don’t. Wear your comfy yoga pants or wear makeup for the first time all week. Bring the baby—or don’t! It doesn’t matter. This is your time and your space.

Orthopedic PHYSICAL THERAPY
Before you undergo expensive or invasive surgery, try physical therapy. For some conditions, including meniscal tears and knee osteoarthritis, rotator cuff tears, spinal stenosis, and degenerative disc disease, treatment by a physical therapist has been found to be as effective as surgery.
We see clients, including kids, 1-on-1. Our licensed therapists have been working in their fields for 20+ years. Therapy here is never 3 sets of 10 exercises where you’re left alone on a mat in a big gym full of other people. We’ll work closely with you and get you back to doing what you love.
PEDIATRIC PHYSICAL THERAPY
At The Restoration Space, you’ll find physical therapy tailored specifically to children of all ages, from infants to adolescents. We utilize a play-centered model of therapy that focuses on each child’s unique strengths to help them improve or learn new motor skills. We believe each caretaker knows their child best and is a huge asset to a successful therapy program. Conditions we treat include torticollis, autism, sports injuries, and more.
