Nourish And FlourisH 12 week Program

Transforming Your Relationship With Food

This program is structured to help you become more aware of your food habits, your relationship with food, negate the diet mentality prevalent in our society and find freedom with your food. Within these 12 weeks, we'll work side by side, discussing and digging into the emotions surrounding your food choices and how that affects your day-to-day life as well as your health and wellness goals. We'll dive into your past with diets, over-eating, emotional eating. We will discover ways to slow down and find new approaches to the foods you love and those that love you back.

This will be a journey that is going to take time, practice, and patience with yourself, and Coach Bekah is here for you and with you every step of the way.

Nourish & Flourish is broken up into three pillars:

Pillar ONE:

SELF-AWARENESS & MINDFULNESS

This pillar focuses on helping you become more aware of your emotions and triggers for emotional eating and the underlying reasons behind your unhealthy eating habits. We will develop mindfulness techniques to enable you to pause and assess your feelings before turning to food for comfort.

Pillar TWO:

HEALTHY EATING HABITS

This pillar focuses on establishing a balanced and sustainable approach to nutrition without strict diets or deprivation. You will learn how to nourish your body with wholesome foods while still enjoying your favorite treats in moderation and still finding joy in the foods you eat.

Pillar THREE:

LONG-TERM SUCCESS AND LIFESTYLE

This pillar focuses on how you can achieve long-term success in your relationship with food by integrating your newfound awareness and healthy habits into your daily life. We will create sustainable lifestyle changes and build resilience against future challenges.

FAQ

What can I expect with health coaching?

During your initial session, you’ll dig into your health story. With Jenna you’ll cover lifestyle factors that may be impacting your health including mindset, nutrition, sleep, stress and movement. You’ll establish your long term vision and goals, then then determine small, achievable step to help you get there.

How is coaching different from working with another healthcare provider?

Have you ever gone to the doctor and felt like they didn't give you any options you were comfortable with? Health care providers in our current medical paradigm tend to take an authoritarian approach instead of a collaborative approach. Coaching is a completely collaborate relationship. As a coach I will bring expertise, give you options, and empower you to pursue the options best for YOU.

What training is required to be a health coach?

Jenna holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy and completed a year-long training program through the Integrative Women’s Health institute to become a Certified Women’s Health Coach. Health coaching is currently not a regulated profession in the United States, meaning that anyone can call themselves a health coach. However, the Integrative Women’s Health Institute is accredited by the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaches which works to establish high standards for health coaches.

Mariella holds a Master's in Health Sciences with a focus on integrative health and wellness from Rutgers University, as well as a Master's in Health Care Administration. Additionally, Ms. Silva is a Duke-trained health and wellness coach dedicated to empowering clients to achieve their health goals.

Bekah is a Certified Health Coach, and a Certified Life Coach both acquired from The Health Coach Institute.

Does insurance cover health coaching?

No, unfortunately health coaching services are not typically covered by insurance. Please check with your FSA/HSA provider as some are willing to cover health coaching.

Are tests and supplements covered in the cost of a coaching package?

No. The coach may provide education on potential benefits of supplements and/or lab testing. If the client chooses to utilize supplements or pursue testing it will be an additional cost.

Do I really need multiple sessions?

Treating root causes takes commitment and consistency. It is unlikely that you will see great changes after just one session. Choosing a package enables us to spend more time together and for you to see more significant results over time.

Client Feedback

“I used to struggle with anxiety, all day, every day and now I am ACTUALLY LIVING my life. By dialing in on my nutrition and eliminating some items from my diet, my anxiety has pretty much vanished! Jenna provided guidance and recipes to support the dietary changes I was making which made it so easy. She also provided a great deal of mental health support by helping me to organize my thoughts, balance work, life and family and reminding me to prioritize & be kind to myself.”

— Amy T.

“I feel like a new person. I have let go of so many things that were not allowing me to carry myself in a way that I wanted to. I feel like I am in control of my life and see things very differently. Every session I seemed to bring up something new that I was struggling with, and Jenna had so many resources to provide so that I could spend time reading and doing more positive things that would help me grow.”

— Laura V.

“We were able to get to some of the roots of my issues, which were not only exacerbating symptoms but causing me a lot of stress. Learning about meal planning and making that a focus not only resulted in healthier eating, but lower stress around the whole process of grocery shopping, meal planning, and prep. Taking the time to talk through things felt very therapeutic and helped me access my intuition, which is really the most powerful tool there is!”
