How Pilates and physical therapy can collaborate for your body after baby.
Please join our wonderful Pilates instructor (PS...she is a certified midwife in France!) and our women’s health physical therapist as we discuss all you need to know to improve your body awareness, strength, stability, and overall body health after baby. We will answer questions about getting back to exercise, when is the right time (and how!) to start working those of abdominal muscles (we promise they are still there!), exercises you can start doing right now to gain back control and empower your body, and even discuss how to ‘find’ those pelvic floor for those kegels-and why they are so important (cue dreadful music...dah dah dummmm!). We will end the exercise portion with a mindful breathing exercise that will help you get through sleepless nights and overwhelming days.
There will be a 30 minute question and answer following one hour energizing yet calming instructional session. So bring all of your questions, let’s talk about all the things that nobody talks about, and let us take care of YOU while you take care of that beautiful baby.
